                                                                                                                                               The clock is ticking; the health clock that is. If you are a smoker, then you know the risks you are taking with every puff. If you are around non-smokers such as a spouse, child or other loved ones, then you know how dangerous your second hand smoke is on their bodies.             
The good news is; you can stop smoking and do it for good! It will take will power and fortitude. It may also take looking at the various paths to breaking the nicotine addiction but the effort will be well worth it.                                                                                       
Here’s a powerful help tip; you need to know that not everyone breaks the power of this addictive    habit the same way.
Your path may be different than the next but the end result is what counts! What path will you take? Are you just going to go cold turkey? Are you going to use a stop smoking patch?
How about one of those fake cigarettes designed to wean one off of the nicotine fix. Are you going to seek a spiritual path such as prayer and maybe fasting? The path to take is first getting to know all of your options and determining from that knowledge base which one is best for you.
                                                                                                                                                                 How To Lose Weight And Keep It        Off                                                                                                                                 Losing weight has literally become an American pastime. Very few Americans are not fighting the battle of the bulge. So how does one out the weight off and keep it off? An even more important question is, “Can a overweight person put the weight off and keep it off?” The answer is a definite “Yes!”
The key is not losing faith and giving up when you see others who can’t seem to win when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off. I remember seeing clips from Kirstie Alley's new reality show, “Big Life.”
It’s a comical reality show documenting Kirstie Alley's efforts to lose weight. Judging by some of the  sarcastic comments people have made about Kirstie, their belief is she’ll never lose the weight but I’m a believer! I believe she can do it and so can you!
The key to losing weight and keeping it off is the same as the process of dealing with any addiction; that is learning about the various paths to freedom… and then taking the one that best suits you.
Just so you know, there is no best way to lose weight and there is no best way to keeping the fact off. The trick is finding what works for you. Start by making healthier food choices, drinking water and of course exercising. Sound simple, aye? That’s because it is!
                                                                                                                                                                  Addicted To Sweets No More       
                                                                                                                                              Does this sound familiar? Honey buns and hot chocolate laced with sugar in the morning, followed by a Snickers candy bar and Peanut M&Ms at break. Then, after lunch you grab a Kit Kat bar, and a couple of Reece’s Peanut Butter cups.
On the drive home, you’re thinking about that delicious Haagen Daz butter pecan ice cream in your freezer. You can’t wait till you’re done with dinner so that you can taste that sweet frozen treat.
Most of us have been there! That’s how the companies want you to be; addicted to their scrumptious delicacies. I’ll never forget the day I shunned candy for good.
That was almost twenty years ago and my teeth, gums and overall health is thanking me immensely everyday. In our health tips, we’re going to show you how to beat the sweet tooth at it’s own game!
